Wonderful little corner store. Considering their square footage they had an amazing selection. The employee on duty was super friendly and excited to help us. The service was fast and I'm excited for my next visit!
Whoa. I SO wish this was my local game store. But as it is, I will DEFINITELY visit every time I'm in Gatlinburg. Prime location, vast and varied selection and beyond all else, the most knowledgeable and passionate game shop owner I've met to date. I can't imagine giving a rating lower than 5 stars. I see two poor reviews. One is about music playing in the store (who cares) and one is about pricing (I'm confused because I paid exactly retail, and would have gladly paid more to support this local owned business) not to begrudge other's experiences, but i want to make sure no one misses out on this gen based on those!
Owner Cass was great to converse with! Had fair prices on lots of difficult to find, out of print, merchandise. Huuuge amount of inventory! Definitely recommend checking them out.
Went in during my vacation in Gatlinburg. Prices were decent (for a board game store) and was impressed with their selection of MTG cards. I appreciate they let me look through the cards instead of using a computer (I often don't know what I want). Staff was pretty friendly and knowledgeable. The reason for the lower rating, was while I was looking at the cards, the person on staff started blaring music (it's not a big store). While that in itself was bothersome, the music was highly inappropriate and used a ton of fowl language (it's a tourist town, they should have known better). Maybe some corrective action on behalf of management, but if that kind of thing doesn't bother you, you will most likely enjoy the experience.
Very cramped space. 6 people in the store at once and it felt like we were on top of each other. Selection of games is decent. Found an out of print expansion with no price tag. Asked how much it was and was given a range of "$80-$100 because it's hard to find". Found it on Amazon while in the store, brand new for $55. Bought it from my phone and left.
