This place is quaint and small but its been a family tradition for decades. The menu changes with just a few constants so sometimes its a hit miss. But last time I was in TN is went twice in a week and had all of the specials. Delicious!

The hot tea is absolutely wonderful, it didn't have a overly strong or overly weak flavor, and it had a perfect ammount of sweetness.

We had such a great lunch! The food was to die for, they only had 1 tea but believe me that's the one you want it's wonderful! And it's well priced too! And healthy. MAKE A RESERVATION IF YOU GO. They are very understaffed because of the fires. But it was well worth the wait!!! Great staff too! So helpful and friendly! Loved it!

The room was beautiful and quiet. A perfect atmosphere stressed minds to relax. The staff was kind, and offered a sweet smile as we entered.

Their brownie dessert was also amazing, and complimented the tea wonderfully.

This place is always busy, reservations are recommended. The food is always wonderful. The first time I ever ate here, I thought it looked like a fairy house in the woods. However, the outside has become rundown the last few times I've visited. There used to be baskets and pots of flowers and plants growing everywhere, but lately it's just a bunch of moldy old silk and plastic flowers in the pots. The inside is still adorable, but the outside has been let go. The grounds are green and lush and the setting is beautiful. It really doesn't need much to be beautiful..I'd suggest leaving it natural if you don't want to keep it up. But it's still worth a visit. The lobster pie is amazing and the servers are friendly.

We had heard good things about this restaurant and drove quite a distance to get there. When we arrived, the parking was very limited. We finally found a space, walked up to the restaurant, read the menu, and saw numerous people waiting to be seated, although it was obvious there were tables available. We sat down, asked others waiting how long they had been waiting and they said 20 to 30 minutes. There was no hostess in sight, we had to sign in. When signing in, we noticed someone had written "cash only". Well, of course, we didn't have cash, so we had to leave. I hope your experience will be better than ours. Perhaps it would be better to call in advance.
