My family and I got kicked out of her store for me answering her question correctly.

If this owner is so unhappy, she really should get out of the business. We spent 2 whole days on the artist loop and found incredibly helpful and happy people, people who went out of their way to be friendly and provide a fun shopping experience. My experience with this owner put a damper on my whole group's experience in the Gatlinburg area.

I am giving this store 1 star, but if the system allowed me to, I wouldn't have given any stars at all - that is how awful my visit to this store was. I was interested in several items in the store, but the owner literally threw me out. I entered the store while I was on my phone. This call was important but it was one that I knew I could just listen to and not do much talking on. I whispered to the caller that I was going into a store and that I wouldn't respond but that they could do all the talking. The moment I entered, the store owner very rudely and very loudly told me to leave the store and that phones were not allowed. She literally rushed to push me out, but one of my companions stepped in between us to prevent her from touching me. The owner then loudly told everyone in the store that she'd heard too many conversations about people's grandpa's prostrate surgery. I was humiliated and it was clear that that was her goal. I sat on the porch the whole time my companions shopped. Through the window I watched her berate a young boy who went in with his family with a small game devise in his hands.

After my experience at this store I am angry. When the saleswoman asked us to guess what many pieces were glazed with, there were some with coffee grounds, newspaper, even horse hair. When we came to one piece I said "poop", after thinking of the other weird glazes. She got mad and said "Miracle Gro, I think we're done here, have a good day." She then walked away and ignored us until we left.

Woman in store was incredibly rude. The shop was delightful to visit. I was very interested in items. I can guarantee I will never return. Most artists are a delight to talk with, this woman needs an attitude adjustment and a course in human relations.

I highly recommend you skip this store. It's not worth it.

Despite some amazing quality crafts and pieces, This establishment has lost my family’s business forever. The woman working a downright “witch with a capital B”. We had asked questions based off of previous knowledge that we already had, and every response she gave us made it seem like all of our knowledge was false. When we were talking about the glazing processes on some of the pieces, we learned of the unique and interesting ways it was done. After learning that some pieces were fired with newspaper, coffee grounds, and even horse hair, she asked what we thought a particular piece was fired in. Without hesitation, my brother (who is in middle school and has the brain to match) said “dog poop!” And we all laughed. The woman paused and said, “Miracle Gro. We’re done here. Have a nice day.” She then proceeded to close down the shop before we even walked out. I have never been more offended by a shop owner. After reading some other reviews, this isn’t the first instance of this kind of attitude. I believe this woman needs to work in fast food where that type of behavior is more acceptable. I’m done here. Have a nice day!

The products in the store were very interesting and beautiful but the owner was a black stain on the gallery. She kicked my entire family out after my brother asked a question. She over all seemed very entitled and not welcoming at all.

I understand it is her prerogative to make the rules for her store. I did not see a "no talking on your cellphone" sign posted. But it is not necessary to humiliate someone in front of a store full of customers. My companions told me that she was rude, brusque and brash with them even though they were buying expensive items from her. They found her to be very disingenuous with them and with other customers that were buying things too.
