We were on vacation from Texas and stopped in the Gallery and were impressed with several wind chimes on display in the shop. We purchased 4 different wind chimes spending $250.00. Each wind chime was wrapped and placed in a padded envelope, we put the 4 envelopes in the side of a box with other items from the area and the box did not leave the car until we returned home. I took the envelopes out of the box today and on the larger wind chime one of the pieces of glass was broken at the tip. The metal hook that connected the piece of glass to the driftwood had broken from the tip of the glass. On a second smaller wind chime the piece of nylon attached to the driftwood was cut from a rough edge on the metal attached to the glass. I call to let the shop know what had happened and was told. "I wrapped and put them into a padded envelope, I have never had any problems before and when they left my shop the were fine!" Thank you! We are very disappointed for the gifts we can't give, the wasted money spent and the attitude of the shop.
