Fine photographer. Shop is like a museum the quality is so good. Lots of Alaska, photos too. Once upon a time I believe he did escourted trips to Alaska.
My husband and I always visit Ken Jenkins photography shop when we visit Gatlinburg. It's our very favorite store in Gatlinburg. Awesome place to browse and shop for amazing photos, books and videos. Our usual "MO" was to eat an early dinner at Smoky Mountain Trouthouse, then walk across the street to Beneath the Smoke. We were very disappointed this trip (Spt 2017) to see his downtown location at stoplight #3 had permanently closed, but we were very relieved and happy to see he is now located off of East Parkway on Pine Lane near the Smoky Mountain Winery and Flapjacks. The old location was always open during their posted hours. We always enjoyed chatting with Ken's wife who usually "manned" the store. She is a very personable, interesting and friendly lady. We felt very fortunate to occasionally see and talk with Ken. He's an amazing photographer and quite talented. His store is definitely worth a visit. It's more than a mere store, it's more like an art gallery! Don't miss it!
