Came into town in the middle of a downpour, check in process was quick and easy, front desk was very helpful in accommodating my 2 wheelchair-bound nephews. Rooms were beautiful and clean, and the view was great of the parkway.. Only complaints I had were that the jets in the hot tub were not working, but we were informed of that upon check in, and it is an entirely non-smoking hotel, even on the balcony.. Other than that, our stay was most enjoyable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Also the complementary FULL hot breakfast was AMAZING!!
Very nice hotel. Clean and reasonable rates. We paid $107.00. The beds were firm, room was clean and had an balcony with a view of the street. Saw some balconies with fire pits l. Our shower curtain did have a slight problem. Over all I would recommend this hotel.
When we arrived with another couple in Sept we upgraded to a Penthouse suite only to find out that the AC was broken (88 deg in room). The front clerk and manager told us the room had been off the market for several months because the ac was broke and they were aware of it ??? We quickly went back to separate rooms which took another 20 min up front only to find that one of the rooms was just fine but my room smelled horrible. At this point my wife refused to stay and we turned in the keys to the front desk letting them know that the room smelled horrible and we were not going to be staying. The clerk assured me she had my CC on file and would "take care of it". It has been three weeks and despite calling hotel two times and speaking to manager my CC has still not been credited ! We have stayed here when it was a Clarion and had very good service so I am surprised.
This is a great place. Location is really good. The hotel is very clean and well kept overall. The room rate was actually better than the Days Inn but much nicer.
We stayed in the 2 queen room with the outside fireplace and loved it. The hot breakfast in the mornings was good and adequate portions. We enjoyed it enough to extend our stay. The only hiccup was after a long day of shopping out cards did not get extended with the stay but they remedied it.
